History
My name is Alyssa Pitts, a speech-language pathologist and founder of Healing By Horseback and Siloam Springs Pediatric Therapy. I graduated in 2014 with my masters degree from Northeastern State University in Tahlequah, Ok. Horses have always been a part of my life and served a purpose. Recently, I have seen the need for utilizing the horse for a different purpose: Hippotherapy. My goal is to make this novel and effective therapy tool available to children in the NWA area.
family
My husband and I are natives of Lincoln, AR. He spends his days operating the family farm that has been up and running for 100+ years. Beginning as an apple orchard in 1914, the farm is now a 800-acre cattle and poultry operation. Healing By Horseback’s facility resides on the land. We own and operate Siloam Springs Pediatric Therapy to be a compliment to Healing By Horseback.
